Preschoolers will have their turn to play ball at the Jefferson park and recreation department’s Blastball program.
Blastball is for boys and girls ages 4 and 5. The group will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, July 16 through Aug. 1, from 5:30 to 6:05 at Kelso Park.
Blastball teaches the basic fundamentals and concepts of baseball/softball. No glove is needed. Cost is $20.The popular Pre-Sous Chefs classes will meet Tuesday, July 17, through Friday, July 20. Children ages 6-8 will meet from 1 to 2 pm and ages 9-12 will meet from 2 to 3 pm. Classes will meet at the Greene County Community Center.
Pre-Sous Chefs will be taught by staff from the Jefferson Hy-Vee store. Cost is $20.
